How We Get Involved

The Sault Shrine Club is all about the children. Listed below are some of the charities we are directly involved in. We donate to the Shriners Hospitals, to the Shrine Patient Transportation Fund just to name a few. We host a yearly Christmas party for children, and we sponsor local sports teams. We also send money to our parent organization , The Mocha Shriners. Mocha sends money to even more organizations. To learn more about them check out their website at www.mochashriners.org/

How We Get Involved: What We Do

Shriners Children's Hospitals

Shriners Hospitals for Children is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. Our health care system provides advanced care for children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. To learn more about the specifics, click below to check out the Shriners Hospitals for Children website.

Shrine Patient Transportation

A registered federally licensed charity. Donations are income tax deductible and these donations are received from the public as well as Shriners. Funds received are available only for transportation, care and expenses of the patients and their custodians to and from Shrine Hospitals for Children. In order for the fund to continue, shrine clubs and units make donations to help offset the expenses incurred. If you are aware of a child that is in need of transportation to one of the Shriners Childrens Hospitals, please click below.

Soccer Sponsorships

The Sault Shrine Club has agreed to  support the Sault Youth Soccer League, by sponsoring a couple of teams each summer, typically an under-10 boys team and an under-10 girls team, at an approximate cost of $500 a year. This is voted on each year, and thus far has been endorsed by the Noble brethren. This has been chaired by Noble Eric Greaves. If you would like some more information about this please, or are maybe even looking towards getting a sponsorship, please click below

Pop Cans

We have been collecting pop cans for quite some time now. We take them, put them in clear bags, and once we have enough we bring them to the scrap yard and collect the money from the aluminum. The profits from this go towards the different shrine charities that we support. This has been Chaired by Noble Dave Jones. If you would like to donate some cans, or maybe even set up a recurring pickup, please click below.

Cakes, Cookies, Pepperettes & More

Shriners are made up of everyday people like you. We love snacks, and we know everyone else loves snacks too. So of course, we sell various items to the public to raise money to support our club, and to ultimately the Shrine Charities we are linked with. Click below to check out what we have for sale
